Finally watched Jurassic World: Dominion a couple weeks ago which meant I could listen to one of my two remaining @disastergirls.bsky.social podcasts. As usual, they were a delight. I miss this podcast. And as an added bonus, @amandasmith.bsky.social read my review at the end of the pod! So cool!

i am fascinated by how nate silver turns everything he doesn’t like into a bespoke ideology. it’s not that he is annoyed by HCR, it is that she is a dreaded “ism” responsible for everything he doesn’t like about the democratic party. same with bluesky.

I’ve said this before, but they should make a series of stand alone movies each with a different Bond. Have some interesting casting. Old Pierce Brosnan, a woman, a woman of color, Riz Ahmed, Idris Elba. Hire different directors. But the villain should be a lightly fictionalized version of Elon Musk
this is so silly. people know the deal with bond. the writers should just embrace the metatextual aspects of the franchise
