There's five more sections to go through. But I get it, complexes aren't really a thing, rule of thumb and there's value in terminology that better fits the territory of what people are going through.
Kinda got hit by how language can be stigmatizing and called out for being unsympathetic.

Every question that involves reading through couples talking about their relationship reminds me of this one Gianmarco bit did.
Exercises would be easier to answer if I could just go "One to ten, how sensitive to criticism are you?" without it you know torching the therapist-client relationship.

The segment is more correcting popular conceptions of psychology. Complexes aren't really a clinical construct, they're more a folksy way of understanding people and arose from the psychoanalytical tradition that's more a literary school of thought than actual medicine.

I love learning about complexes, I've been at it for a while. Treatment Plans:
Inferiority: encourage them to avoid investing their own ego into undertakings, keep a gratitude journal and practice positive self-talk.
Superiority: have you considered they might be?? What if they are that good tho!!!
