Hello cruel world, I'm Vosyl. I'm the writer behind Nature's Revolver, and my fursona is a black-tailed jackrabbit called Yvonne. I plan just to use this account to:

- post and retweet art.
- comment on friends writing.
- collate inspiration regardless what form it takes.
- pin together moodboards.
I bought an hour glass as an AuDHD hack, so instead of blinking and five hours going by, I have this fidget toy I can play with every thirty minutes and catch myself quicker.

ok good morning everyone here's my apparently 32 minute read on how to get started as a musician I spent 14 entire godforsaken hours writing because I'm really fucked up!!!
I Heard You Wanted To Start Making Music (And You Can!!!)
a really long but hopefully helpful massive pile of words about getting started making music based on past advice I’ve given.

Leopard Seals are Antifa now.
That grease-soaked penguin is now your fursona.

I have had this great and terrible fear that if I acknowledge the youtube thumbnails people have been making of babies that it wills it further into existence.

So no, that isn't a fever halluncination, that's a real meme on your timeline. They're doing pets today now.

Prev: I would go further, and that it makes the rest of the video essay suspect, if you're censoring terminology with algo-speak what else was affected: Did you cut out any other parts that were uncomfortable and risked demonetization?

Its what seperates critical appraisal from content™️

watched a yt video essay about the objectification of women in modern media and biopics and they used the term "torture corn" instead of torture porn and i think for the sake of what you are talking about you should take the demonetization to use the appropriate language. words mean things.

We will be dead when art history finally mentions furry artists.

So many of them created visual masterpieces current humanity can't accept as legit art.

The only thing I learnt from art history that Living artists a lot of times doesn't get the recognition they deserve from their peers

I fucked up and forgot to turn quote-tweets on for a shareable post didn't I. There will come a day when I remember not to be so antisocial, today isn't one of them.

I recently learnt that Penguins are all really oily, and that protective coating of grease on their feathers acts as a means of insulation, like if you pet or hug them, you wipe it off and they'll rapidly freeze to death.

They are the most fedorable animals out there.
Yeah, this is really it for me. This really sums up everything about the fascist death drive, the utter illiteracy of conservatives driven by nothing but aesthetic, and the unthinking masculinist bravado underlying it all.

The male urge to fucking die in a frozen wasteland to own the libs.

Homan is an incredible name for something only pretending to be human.

lol, lmao. I lost two gigs that could've been what some would consider 'career starting' and I'm still bitter about it because of the judgemental attitude on twitter and the prevalence of lists.

Covid was just the cherry on top, and the whole mold-infected lung the NHS dragged themselves treating.

Hey remember when you spread around Randi Harpers' twitter blocklist ostensibly aimed at blocking GamerGate goons but was used almost exclusively to target trans women in the game dev industry, which resulted in many of them losing out on much needed work, and you ignored it when people told you?
It's been a long time since people who don't know me at all put words in my mouth, got each other really worked up, and demanded I respond to something I never said. I'm not going to waste my time with people who are indistinguishable from Gamergate trolls. I'm not doing that anymore.

My only real hang-up with art is I've gotten bored with drawing Yvonne. Post-therapy (and it was mentalisation I did) and a year of studying psychology my perspective has shifted.

I don't think my art exploring my own neurosis is really all that interesting, and once pulled out of that cave...

When I publish my first graphic novel, I will make a Scots Gaelic translated version if my life is easy enough at that point. Just because.

I have three days to myself before my course starts, and I'd like to use what time I have for myself.

If I choose to use it for art; I'll be making a short list of ideas that still appeal to me. For writing, outlining some shorter ideas to push ahead with as practice.

"My artwork that depicts an act which, if done to a real person would be a crime, is fine. But your artwork, that depicts an act which, if done to a real person would be a crime, is sick and wrongheaded and you should be in jail." is..

distressingly common amongst even those who draw edgy shit.

I think one of the most paul verhoeven style tidbits about our real world is that a countdown intended for measuring closeness to instant nuclear annihilation at the start of the cold war had to comically start adding seconds to contextualize the risk of fascism and climate change.
The world is closer than ever to the end, according to those behind the Doomsday Clock, which is set 85 seconds to “midnight” for 2026.

Members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists moved the metaphorical clock forward by four seconds as threats of humanity’s own making continue to grow.
These scientists say the world is closer than ever to ‘doomsday’
The assessment reflected growing risks related to nuclear weapons, climate change, AI, autocracy, biological technologies and other human-made threats.
