*grinding teeth* It's sanism, not ableism, when its discrimination directed at the mentally ill. We have our own vocabulary and decades of theory under Mad Studies.
Saying someone is a schizophrenic isn't automatically ableism, and person first language moreso reinforces negative stereotypes.

One thing I really like about JTHM is that Nny started as a racially ambiguous pale guy, but as time went on, Vazquez made him more explicitly Hispanic, and he had a Twitter account tweeting in character for him, he would celebrate Día de los Muertos by "releasing ghosts"

My personal opinion is that Haidt is a hack, who laundered conservative feelings into appearing as if its a respectable point of view but there's nothing about that perspective that has ever remotely been morally balanced.

Someone beat me to the Amygdala, so taking disgust. It came about from what's called 'Moral Foundations Theory' set forth by Jonathan Haidt (yes, the 'anxious generation' guy) who posited liberals overvalue care/harm dimensions while conservatives are more even-keel, even on facets tied to disgust.
