If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

This is a really nice phrasing of what I've been trying to put into words about the idea of 'using LLMs to learn to program'.
"“You can only critically assess the output of an AI chatbot if you have the skills to do so, and you don’t develop these skills by using AI. Before you can be critical of an AI summary, you have to learn to understand a text without having it summarized by an AI tool.”

It’s crazy. It’s wild. It can’t be real but it is - Google's @notebooklm a.i. turned my top CBT PDFs into podcast style ‘deep dive audio discussions’ with 2 charming ‘hosts’. I’m still scratching my head about it all. 👉 🎧 www.cbtandfeelinggood.com/soundcloud/ Audio Podcast resource / Veronica Walsh

Again, as a great reporter, one would think Baron would see more clearly.

He isn’t afraid of Trump. He has been unleashed by Trump to present his real views. And those views may not be the same as they were a decade ago, but that irrelevant.

Why wouldn’t a billionaire be embracing Trump’s agenda?

The extent to which Elon Musk and the tech bros think they’re somehow the first people ever to think about how to run a government is astounding.
This guy’s onto something. We should set up a new branch of government that can set USAID spending levels and investigate if the funds are being spent correctly. We could even have that branch be democratically elected and have wide representation from the entire country.

Having watched with growing alarm the developments of the last 24 and 36 hours in Washington, I thought I’d take a stab at how the US media would cover this story if it was happening in a foreign country. Here’s that story that should be written this weekend: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/musk-s-jun...
