I finally took some time to read (well, listen to) @veragraf.bsky.social's recent book 'Women on Porn', and it's just fantastic. The interviews with women are really honest and insightful and Fiona's commentary manages to be both non-judgmental and substantive, which is a tricky balance to achieve.

UK academics! I've got a drinking game for the phrase "with my REF hat on..." Anytime someone says it in 2024 you have to have a shot. Increasing to 2 shots per mention next year, 3 shots per mention year the after etc etc etc until we all black out by 2029

people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙
