At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.
The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

No one hates New York City more than the guy who goes on Fox News to essentially complain that New York is a city of immigrants.
Cuomo is on Fox News saying that Mamdani is not a real Democrat for reasons that sound like Republicans saying people who have different cultural customs (in addition to their typical American ones) because they’re first gen immigrants are not real Americans
