Nooticing how Stephon Castle creates advantages off the bounce whereas Zacch can't dribble against the slightest ball pressure

this season is just Trae and bigger Dejounte all over again. when your two best players have no interest in defending, it becomes contagious

I don't think Quin's job is safe this season. The team came in with actual expectations, and they're flunking them so far.

You can debate how much is his fault, but the reality is the owner is impatient. And when a team disappoints, the coach is the first to get the axe.

Revised two main goals for the Hawks:

1. Plan for a post Trae 2026 and beyond
2. Dark wiccan ritual sacrifice to ensure that pick lands in the top 4

The majority of the best builds towards contention around the NBA recently have been defensive identity first. I can think of OKC, Houston, Detroit, Boston and San Antonio off the top of my head.

Pretty easy to add scoring to a good defense, but a lot more difficult to do it the other way around.

Only way to get rid of tanking in the NBA is to abolish the draft and let teams bid on rookie free agents, thanks for listening to my talk and have a nice day

Wrote about the porous Hawks defense and the three big things contributing to the slide.

The season will spiral if the Hawks don’t fix these three things
Things are dire. How do the Hawks fix them?

Phillip Rivers is really retired to be with his army of kids then came back 5 years later to play the most violent major US sport. I have never loved anything as much as that man loves football

in Jalen's defense (pun intended), he's never had to play or exert himself this much at this level. not HS or Duke. previous years, he's had Trae for offensive load (and never started more than ~50 games in the NBA)

The Hawks have $85MM in (probably) expiring money in Trae/KP/Luke. They can either flip it at the deadline or find a solution in the offseason, but that money has to go towards a real defensive infrastructure first and foremost.

Jalen is just Luka-lite at this point. Let him do whatever on offense, but you're gonna need two rim protectors on the floor at all times.

Tom Brady remains the most divorced man alive
Tom Brady got multiple facial reconstruction surgeries, posts thirst traps online, and had a Netflix televised roast

That man exudes the most divorced mid-life crisis energy in history

Having G5 teams like Tulane and JMU in the CFP is good, actually. It's charming and good for the sport that a smaller fanbase gets to experience the pageantry.

You "big" programs will be fine, I promise.
