Game Maker Linux game dev is back on the menu for my ol' reliable desktop PC 💙
The stock "Evercool" CPU fan finally ran out of lubricant nearly a decade later, and started screeching like my PC is haunted
It was always a bad fan anyway, here's hoping the new one keeps my PC cool for years to come.

I think it's time for laser hair removal surgery on my face. If I'm to keep up with the 12-hour shift life, having 3-4 hours to work on projects between shifts is key to my creative well-being.
What chokes my time is needing to pluck my facial hair ~45 mins a day, which I've done for 6 years now

I was 3 weeks late to my walk-in for a blood lab check, but my Estradiol levels are up! Roughly ~90mL compared to ~60mL before.
Now they want me to try 4mg doses and check-in again at 6-8 weeks. I will start that dosage tomorrow 💙
Very curious how it might affect me this time.

my issue with generative ai is that it's an "averaging" machine. when you ask it to write a story, or generate an image of a dog, it will generate the most average story or dog based on its training data, with little random variation

Up next in Beihai Bay: Pixel can possess (supported) enemies, modifying their appearance and behavior to change things up in the stage. (Similar to Syntax's "Code Black" in FP2.)

The Petal Crash port for Game Boy Color is now at a point where all four score attack modes completely work, and you can play a whole game to its completion and get a results screen. Multiplayer is close to fully working too. There's a lot of work left but the game being fully playable is exciting.
