Retro MP3 players are cheap, (the iRock I had as a kid? Sealed and $30!) but the Mini is so cute, I got one too

Retro MP3 players are cheap, (the iRock I had as a kid? Sealed and $30!) but the Mini is so cute, I got one too

HRT Update: My chest can finally fill in an A-cup bra, so guess who went shopping last week? ❤️ I smiled the whole evening.
While I had bras before, those were to support my breast forms. Now I have one for the real deals, and it hits different.

The only way to customize a desktop for such an old OS: A stinky 256-color JPG of your favorite cartoon at the time. (Cursed custom pointers and sound effects pending)

I'm delighted with DOSBox Pure so far. Setting up a Windows 98 SE VM hasn't been this easy before! 💙
There are some PC games that haven't played nicely with Windows since Win2000. Nor do they have recomps or fan-made patches to preserve them.

I'm delighted with DOSBox Pure so far. Setting up a Windows 98 SE VM hasn't been this easy before! 💙
There are some PC games that haven't played nicely with Windows since Win2000. Nor do they have recomps or fan-made patches to preserve them.

Week 2 of taking HRT injections: I'm mixed on it
Pro: My breast growth might be back on track? (They feel painful to touch again.) And my skin is even more sensitive.
Con: My anxiety gnaws at me when I'm alone at night. Two depressive episodes so far. I hope it subsides, I don't feel like myself 💔

HRT Update: After a lot of running around last Friday, (Multiple pharmacies were out of meds!) I got my Estradiol Valerate. Promptly took my first injection the following morning, after reading for an hour.

HRT update: My bloodwork shows while my estrogen went up, it still isn't where it needs to be. My NP says we need injections, not more pills.
After some back-and-forth with the pharmacy over the wrong estradiol, I can pick it up soon.
I am excited, but I dread adjusting to 4x my current E levels 💦

And after that long detour with working on Final Nightmare + the late game, it's time to revisit Beihai Bay. Beihai Bay will be the next playable stage in the campaign, and its boss is now ready to fight!

After 14+ years of GIMP, I learned Aseprite this year. It's my primary art software now, and I only had two complaints:
• No moveable toolbars
• No toolbox grouping
A friend had to do some XML editing just to help me mirror the layout! 💔

We only think we know how much our phones listen to us. Do you ever have a conversation in-person, then YouTube recommends videos on the topic in minutes?
My workaround: Double a band-aid over the loudspeaker mic. It's less convenient, but it can't hear me now.
Any good DeGoogled phones out there?

I'm always thinking how I should document my code, and I had an epiphany.
Code must be self-documenting. i.e, intuitive variable names. (No magic numbers!) There are times when optimized or cursed code needs explanation, of course.
Maybe sometimes it's good to explain what our code ISN'T doing?

I'm always thinking how I should document my code, and I had an epiphany.

This month will be my first full year on HRT! It has been fun seeing and feeling the changes as they sneak up on me.
In that time, I got full A-cups, thicker thighs, pudgy groin, larger cheeks, and my bottom lip is bigger. Kissing is more stimulating!
And I put away my hip pads and breast forms! 💙
