Another reminder of Johnson’s inability to be taken seriously. The House Speaker asked for the bill to be amended in the Senate, and the minority party got a motion through to pass the bill unamended literal minutes afterwards 🤣
Schumer: The Senate has now passed the Epstein bill as soon as it comes over from the House.

I'm having complicated and frustrated thoughts about having to see reminders all over my feed that the president said something jaw-droppingly fatphobic in public while at the same time wondering how many of those people themselves make fat jokes and only clock this one as bad because Trump said it

The Indiana State Senate rejected President Donald Trump’s call for a special session to redraw the state’s congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterms. The move preserves Indiana’s current map and represents yet another rebuke of Trump’s national gerrymander push.

Very important for people to read this portion of the Epstein Files Transparency Act so you understand 1) why Mike Johnson was so upset today, and 2) what is NOT permitted to be redacted by the DOJ.

Public pressure brings public consequences. When communities make it clear their needs aren’t being met, no amount of political cover from your favorite elite will protect you.

That’s one thing we’re building with our lobbying collective, people power to hold our electeds accountable. Link in bio!

Every victory, no matter how small, matters.

It shows that the rule of law isn’t defunct yet and that the President isn’t some infallible person who can bend the universe to his whim.
Eleventh Circuit throws out Trump's suit against CNN in a per curiam unpublished ruling. Meaning Trump's arguments were totally meritless, not even worthy of a published opinion. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

We would not be here today without Virginia Giuffre.

We should all be thankful for the legacy of courage she left behind.
