Today, thousands of people came out to events all across NYC—picking up and handing out materials to defend their neighborhoods from ICE. There were whistles kits & know your rights cards. Virtually all countries have had universal health care for their citizens, as shown below. As a result, most of them have longer life spans, lower infant mortality, and other measures. There's really nothing except stubborn resistance from America's docs & drug makers stopping us.

NEW: It appears Senate Dems have enough votes for cloture with Jacky Rosen flipping to a yes vote. Rand Paul voted no. Kaine, Rosen, Fetterman, Shaheen, Hassen, King, Durbin, Cortez-Masto are the dems yes votes.

We polled Indivisible members over the weekend on whether Dems should take a deal or keep fighting for the ACA subsidies. Results: 98.67% said keep fighting.
Dems who vote to surrender now are fracturing their own party in a way that will reverberate loudly in the primaries.

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
