The fact that these GOP legislators know that MNCare is not free, and continue to say that immigrants are getting free healthcare, is the absolute worst.

I’m going to reference this every time the GOP says feeding kids is “wasteful spending” ✌️
The term “wasteful spending” gets thrown around a lot at the Legislature, and it’s important that we have a real conversation about what is “good” and what is “wasteful.”

As MN debates its next budget, it is important to remember that our social and economic strength comes from the richest among us. Tech bros, high paid CEOs, and passive investors turn the gears of society & we need to make sure they are properly incentivized to continue profiting off of our labor.

I don’t get how people can’t zoom out and understand that government is just a:
- shared pool of money
- for shared resources
- where everyone has a voice
- without a profit-driven influence or middleman
