You have GOT TO SEE THIS. When asked by the Senate Judiciary Committee about white supremacist Dylan Roof and his horrific antisemitic mass murder, Kash Patel, the head of the FBI, had no clue who that was saying: “I’m sorry, Dylan Ruth?”

Patel is completely in over his head and it shows.

When I worked at Senate Budget, every single year, I would go through the copious errors in Rand Paul's budget. Tyler was my replacement when I left (follow him).

What's so amazing about the Paul budget is both that he has some of the same errors each year & that there are new ones every year too.
Yesterday, Rand Paul proposed a budget that is full of gimmicks AND full of typos. It calls for a massive 38% cut to federal spending, but doesn't tell you where.

A sneering midwit with inherited wealth got the facts wrong, and accused an honest public servant—Lisa Cook—of fraud. His meddling created a crisis well beyond his portfolio, undermining the Fed.

Bill Pulte can do the right thing and resign.

If merit still matters, he should be fired.

Remarkable how centrist pundits like Noah Smith are still prattling on about "cancel culture" and "Bluesky-ization" while people are getting fired for insufficient mourning of a bigoted liar who constantly directed hatred towards the majority of Americans.
I am having a hard time reconciling "Charlie Kirk was a fierce advocate of open dialogue and free expression" with "we must identify and persecute everyone who is insufficiently mournful"
After Charlie Kirk's death, teachers and professors nationwide fired or disciplined over social media posts
At least a dozen faculty and staff have faced fallout over insensitive comments online.
