I find it odd that she's still going on about this, but also odd how many people seem to think she's wrong? Like, I made a casserole last night that serves eight and the ingredients cost less than $28 ($3.50/serving). And that's without even trying to be frugal. I could cut $8 off that buying bulk.

Finally got around to starting The Pitt, and I am super-glad the show airs weekly because I cannot watch this every night. But, also, this is a show that could desperately use commercial breaks. ER dramas are just so intense they need those three minute breathers.

I have a family member who is a pastor who believes he shouldn’t comment on politics because he’s not an expert and needs to “stay in his lane.”

Earlier today Don Lemon reported a protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, MN where they said pastor David Easterwood is Acting Director of the ICE Field Office.

I know it might be uncouth to say on here, but this is a really good point. There are 46 cities in the US with a population over 420,000, of which Minneapolis is the 8th-whitest. We are a diversifying city, but not all that diverse.
This is the nation's heartland, these are polite Midwesterners as white as ice wants everyone to be, and even they are telling ice that they're worth than useless.

Our section of the block has figured out the perfect snowblowing pattern for this storm. I went out about 4:30 and plowed the first few inches of my house and the neighbors'. About 7:30, my neighbor went out and hit our houses again. And the other neighbor just made another pass at 9:30.

It's kind of bonkers to me that FIFA would hold the World Cup draw before the European playoffs finish so that some group is going to end up with New Zealand (86th in the world) as the fourth team while another is going to have Italy (12th in the world) as its "worst" team.

It’s so weird to me that there are so many people who think that Minneapolis is a great city that’s only getting better and is definitely better than it was a decade ago who also find it unfathomable that half the city is thinking the two-term mayor is doing a fine job.
