So, my question for lawyers is how will this affect appeals in practice? Does it mean asylum seekers will appeal on every possible grounds at their one-and-only appeal, knowing that they won't have a second chance? And will that just eat up more lawyer prep/court time? Or is that not an issue?

Does the ‘wordification’ of acronyms bother anyone else? Nhs Nato Cop Uefa etc. No! These stand for something. NHS NATO UEFA. Wordification results in loss of meaning, is inaccurate and annoys the hell out of me. OK the world has far more important things to worry about, sure. But details matter too

She saw it as part of her job to go out & win the argument: to shape public opinion, not just react to it.
