This writer seems to think it's a win for feminism to contribute to a business that, by the nature of who owns it, is misogynist and will only get more misogynist.

It's the equivalent of saying women should pay dues to a club that doesn't allow female members, because maybe then, one day, it will.

Harm reduction is not a "divisive approach" and I need actual journalists to stop saying this.

Harm reduction is an evidence based approach which gets more people into safety, into treatment, and reduces overdoses and deaths. That is not a divisive approach, but a humanist approach.

What does it take to move 1000 people? Smart infrastructure supporting choices that don’t take up so much space (or produce so much emissions/pollution, cost so much public money etc).

Mobility in cities is about space.

It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).

Our Pantone color of the year will always be red. Its use was officially adopted in 1864, when the Red Cross was established as a neutral emblem to protect medical staff & facilities on the battlefield.

The Red Cross and Red Crescent emblems are symbols of hope. They must be protected & respected.
