When we take our government and country back from the fascists, every single one of these thugs must answer, in court, for the crimes they are currently committing. Hold them all accountable.

There were two US citizens in the car. They were apprehended and detained for “obstructing” ICE by honking their horn to let people know ICE was in the neighborhood.

In social movement studies, we talk about how marches and protests expand the threshold of acceptable risk so that people take more and bigger social risks IN PUBLIC, EN MASSE. This is extremely important for the bourgeois white folks holding signs and building social rapport.
Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.

Surprised to see that Portland's KATU is one of the many Sinclair owned stations which will preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live! amid “ongoing” conversations about the show’s future.
If the Nexstar deal goes through, three of Portland’s four major local broadcasters will be owned by media companies that offered anticipatory obedience to the president.

This is the real reason Jimmy Kimmel is being taken off the air.

Brian Stelter: "Nexstar already owns lots of TV stations. It wants to merge with Tegna, which owns lots of other stations. In order to do that, it needs Brandon Carr, the FCC Chair's, permission."

As of July 1, the critical surveillance program is monitoring for only two pathogens instead of the usual eight, a spokesperson for the CDC says.
