Apathy kills democracy. If not us, who? If not now, when? Be creative. Resist. Never give up. Support The Democratic Party and those who break through the DOGE bs while we still have a democracy.

Of course a 30 year old with no relevant experience other than running "President Trump's favorite Substack" is now quickly flitting through a series of high-powered federal jobs. Of course he wants to declare martial law. Of course he capitalizes the word White. That's all normal.

It finally happened: I'm not surprised by corruption anymore.

My former agency, GSA, now has a higher-up with a history of sexually harassing his female employees, and who once said "I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time, I will admit it."

And I'm just like, of course. sure.

This is both A) incredibly suspicious, and B) within what I would accept as normal levels of government incompetence.

So, you know, we'll see how the judge takes it.
An interesting tidbit in the joint status report filed in the Broadview ICE facility case today:

ICE says video from inside the facility "between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed" and can't be produced in discovery.

Trump, who has criticized America’s past “forever wars” and spent much of this year focused on ending major foreign conflicts, might be about to start one in his own backyard. The Atlantic reports on the president’s endgame in Venezuela:
