Professionally, worked for 25+ years in emergency services (EMT, firefighter, dispatcher, etc.). I love animals, especially dogs, and have done a lot of dog rescue. Reading and writing fantasy stories takes up most of the time that is left!

Tom Barrack is the current Trump Regime ambassador to Turkey. This turned my stomach. Trump's order to Bondi to open investigations didn't include Tom Barrack.

Anybody else starting to make a to-do list, once Trump is gone? I sure am. Hope the Dems are too.

Investigate and imprison
Dismantle ICE
Fix the WH, bring back the gardens
Rebuild alliances
Rebuild fed government
Renew focus on environment

Damn, that’s a daunting task. Tough days ahead. 🫤

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

This. So many people on here say things like, well, he’s just going to pardon them all. Why would we allow that? Hitler couldn’t pardon members of the Nazi party before his end. Why would we let Trump? Pardon authority was not meant to save members of a criminal President’s crime wave.
Additionally, making pardons, both politically and financially beneficial to Trump, null and void. Rearrest criminals who participated in Jan. 6 crimes and bitcoin fraud to complete their sentences.

To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

It's really not OK from a political or moral standpoint that it took 10 years, many of them with Democrats in control of the WH or Congress and 3 prez campaigns against Trump, to get Epstein emails like this out in the open, @ryanlcooper.com writes.

Absolutely fitting coda to the whole Epstein horror show is that the brave testimony of dozens of women could not be credited and we need the emails of men to deem it credible.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.
