Side note-I think people need to start considering what we’ll do if Trump simply pardons everyone in his cabinet. Hitler couldn’t pardon all the Nazis before his fall. I’m not sure why we’d allow a criminal president to pardon those participating in his crimes.

I would even throw Mamdani in there. The guy is charismatic and likeable, in the way Obama was. He has good ideas and energy. Wants to go to bat for all of us.

And of course the other Obama, Michelle! So so many good options. Too many to list here.

Agreed. He’s interesting, but there’s a long way to go, and I think settling on one candidate right now would be a mistake. We do need choices. And Dems have a deep bench of talent. Mayor Pete, AOC, and Pritzker to name a few of my faves.

We can’t. At all, ever. Our president is a criminal involved in a criminal coverup (while still committing other crimes). We have to continuously push for him to be impeached, investigated, and imprisoned.

Bannon is a treasonous criminal. He’s done so much damage to this country with his scheming.

This should be a big part of any D’s platform. Trump is a criminal, and again and again he and Republicans have supported, freed, hired, and promoted criminals. While arresting innocent people on trumped up or totally false charges. Shipping immigrants to foreign prisons. R’s are obscene criminals.

Yep. They don’t deserve that title anymore (party of law and order), if they ever did. Heck, after Jan 6th, it’s an abomination for them to claim to “back the blue”. I say Dems take the title, make it their own. Same with the flag. Start taking back some of these things MAGA has hijacked.

(Side note-Republicans are well aware of this, and I’d bet it will continue to be their strategy even after Trump. Throw a bunch of things at the wall and see what sticks. No way the opposition can respond adequately to them all. It’s mad genius. They can’t be allowed to gain power again).

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Her and few others are rats jumping off a sinking ship. There will be more. As much as I hate them, they’re not stupid (most of them, anyway).
