Democracies don't end with a bang. They are slowly chipped away at until they become something else. Don't be fooled into thinking it can't happen here.
It's sad how true this statement is.

And they're working together to make us even more irrelevant.

French LCI: Ukrainian intelligence services deliberately sent false strategic information to U.S. intelligence, later observing that the material was passed on to Russia and subsequently used by Russian forces.

It's a great time to be a well-connected criminal in America.

"America First" is a pathway to American irrelevance. The world doesn't need us nearly as much as they used to.

Before this administration took over, the DOJ had a 99.7% conviction rate. The current DOJ is so incompetent that they're being laughed out of court.

It’s genuinely bizarre that people who refuse to show their face or identify themselves are demanding identification from people who are fully visible.

"Voters have rejected him. Courage is contagious. There are clear signs of the regime cracking and Trump weakening that are right in front of us. I’m encouraged by it, and I think Democrats have to learn that we need to act with greater ambition, because when we challenge Trump, we keep winning."

It would only take 23 congressional Republicans to end this nightmare right now.

It can be both things.

He is so consumed with money that he can't even fathom people doing something that doesn't have any financial benefit.

The US is forbidden from using tear gas in international war. But this administration has no problem using it against babies.

Hurry up Bob, Rob. He doesn't have time to worry about that silly healthcare stuff. He's got Venezuelan oil to sell.

Sorry that you've given up.

No one here is joking about it. I said he's unable to cancel an election. That's all.

This is the Golden Age for white collar criminals in America.

Mitch could have ended all this before it even began by allowing a real vote in the Senate to convict him after his second impeachment trial. This is all on him.

We're living through the biggest propaganda campaign in US history.
January 16, 2026 at 1:28 AM
It matters, because clearly you're moving the goalposts. My comment was about whether or not there would be an election. Not about anything else.
January 16, 2026 at 1:15 AM
So you're saying there will be an election? So we're in full agreement.
January 16, 2026 at 1:10 AM
There is literally no mechanism for him to cancel state elections. None. If you want to assign powers to him that he does not have, that's on you. I choose to retain hope.
January 15, 2026 at 7:04 PM
If he cancels the election, the entire house, a third of the Senate, and several red state governments would be termed out of office next January. If you think he'd get away with this, I don't know what else to say.
January 15, 2026 at 6:42 PM
I didn't dismiss anything. I just pointed out that he can't do this, no matter how often he says it. It might be the only thing that would get him impeached and removed, and in a landslide vote.
January 15, 2026 at 6:18 PM
But the bigger issue is that it's a comment that's designed to get people to give up.
January 15, 2026 at 6:01 PM
But that wasn't the claim. He's hinting that he wants them cancelled, when he doesn't have this ability.
