Civil litigator here with years of experience of business people’s emails to each other in disclosed evidence for disputes.

As a general rule: the senior the business person, the less effort they put into emails, and the more effort expected from those reading them.

Effectively a mark of rank.
"why are these rich freaks so bad at writing emails?"

because they've never had to be good enough at it to keep paying rent

I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.

Big news in Texas:

A Democrat just decisively won a state legislative special election in a district around Fort Worth that Trump carried by more than 17 points in 2024.

Taylor Rehmet, a local union leader, defeated Republican Leigh Wambsganss 57 to 43 in the historically conservative district.

Rumor: "ICE might be moving to small towns in Ohio next. Small targets where they think they can succeed discretely, and won't get many protesters."

Bitch, some of us live here! 🤬 Don't wish that on any of us! None of it is "small."

ABOLISH ICE, everywhere, forever.

Listen it’s great this happened and we should celebrate and encourage it at the same time we can’t talk about this without noting that it happened through a series of phone calls, one of which was the woman’s husband chatting with the police chief, who he had known for years.

Nothing creates huge populations of profoundly desperate and totally unprotected children like poverty and warfare.

If you’re a Trump or an Epstein or a Musk, fostering conflict and misery is a strategic method of keeping your supply chains of children to rape open.

Never let anyone tell you this was unforeseeable. I was a teenager when DHS was created and I remember the memes (though we didn’t call them that yet) about “homeland security” being a Nazi term. Plenty of people knew at the time that DHS was a bad, dangerous, and unamerican idea.
