I will do what I did with vic3 at launch and just let it cook for a few years but paradox really needs to step up actually testing the games to see that the idea they have for changing up the formula is actually fun to play

I played Bohemia and over the course of 5 real life days of playing (eventually all at five speed by the 1400s)I only reached 1478 not even the 1500s.

The change to hourly ticks instead of days makes the game so much slower and the only system in the game that uses those ticks is combat which feels overkill for such a small gripe of battles taking months? And shoots up the system requirements a bunch and even then the performance isn't great

Hit almost 100 hours in EU5 (Mostly AFK tabbed away like many paradox games) and I think the fundamentals of the game are a step up from EU4 where everything is mana points but the lack of flavor and the AI just... its so close to being a real upgrade but there is so many weird things about it
