The quieter you become, the more you can hear.
This should never occur. Why was Putin speaking from behind the Presidential Seal? Trump team fuck up? Or are they trying to send a message?

DOGE has been clear about its plans to fire tens of thousands of employees at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Now WIRED has new info on the specific DOGE operatives at the VA, and the ways they’re trying to infiltrate and change the agency.
Inside DOGE’s AI Push at the Department of Veterans Affairs
A DOGE operative at the Department of Veterans Affairs appears to be trying to use an AI tool to write code for the agency’s systems, among other proposals.

We can delete spam from our inboxes. We can mark it as spam and put it in a special folder to delete later.

Why can't we tell the email server to send a "bounce" message to the sender?

DEMOCRATS:

You are committing a historic error right now. The federal government is collapsing and you are paralyzed. You seem unable to even address half the stuff that's happening because it does fit into your pre-fab vision of what good political rhetoric sounds like. You are failing America.

Because Trump doesn't intend on ever having another election. Why bother with election security of we're not going to have elections?
CISA – a federal agency that helps secure elections from foreign threats and disinformation – has placed its employees on administrative leave. The move puts the security and integrity of elections in the U.S. at risk.

Some simple concepts that we teach our children:

"Look, but don't touch."
"If you don't know what it does, ask."
"Measure twice, cut once."
"If you break it, you bought it."

Nobody at DOGE seems to understand these.
In a sane world, "move fast and break things" and "National Nuclear Security Administration" probably should not be in the same sentence.

All of those CIA agents are now officially burned and likely will be killed by foreign intelligence services. This harms them personally and damages America.
New via NYT — The CIA sent the White House an unclassified email listing all employees hired by the spy agency over the last two years to comply with an executive order to shrink the federal work force. One former agency officer called the reporting of names a “counterintelligence disaster.”
