“The company’s fans call this process a flywheel, in which issuing debt to buy bitcoin boosts the MSTR stock, allowing it to issue more shares to raise funds to buy more bitcoin.”

I’m sure there’s another name for this. Starts with a “P”? Has an Egyptian motif?

With Farage back on Question Time last night...

...here is your reminder that Farage was on BBCQT a record-breaking 35 times before he became an MP.

And, further, that the panellist selection on BBCQT has been heavily slanted to right-wing think tanks and commentators over the years.

This general election petition stuff is deeply silly. But just to try illustrate how silly - I wonder how many ppl signing the new GE petition thought petitions calling for a 2nd referendum were legitimate. I'd bet the overlap is minimal. Losers consent matters which ever side you're on!

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

Tomorrow, the SEC will decide on spot #Bitcoin ETFs, potentially approving funds like Franklin Templeton’s and Hashdex’s. That would bring direct $Btc access via brokerage accounts and by that boosting crypto interest and the market.

Someone to defraud their banks, assault women, attempt a coup, appoint vaccine skeptics to lead the NHS, raise tariffs on our imports, prosecute journalists for criticising them? We need a person like that? It would actually be hard to tick all those boxes.
