I want to live in a country where I can take time off to have a cold and then time off to recuperate from having a cold without being penalized for missing work. I was looking forward to this period of rest but instead have been sick the whole time, thanks to a coworker who came to work sick.

Yes, the flu can kill children. Why not get vaxxed? Duh.
The flu vaccine doesn't always prevent infection, but it reduces severity.
This is the second pediatric #flu death I've seen in 2 days. I'm so sorry for the pain their families must feel. Unclear if either was vaccinated but odds are they were not, as most such deaths are in unvaccinated children.

In November lots of Texans were turning up at the ER presenting with flu. Please go get your vaccines if you haven't had them yet, it's going to be a long winter and you don't want the flu. And nor do your loved ones, kids, parents, coworkers, schools, churches, passers by, etc.
