One thing I love about New Yorkers is they can just be running some errands and will still take the time to go and tell some fascist MF’ers to GTFO.
"all of you are immigrants," one man yells at the agents, he was in SoHo doing some shopping when he heard ICE was here.

My post on Reddit yesterday was worded poorly. I said "Charlotte's Web Isn't Done Yet." Should have been "CBP says Charlotte's Web Isn't Done Yet."

Because CBP was, in retrospect, plainly lying to the public. Again. A point I made in the story published today.

The funniest most chilling thing about this is the question of why this has even come up. Who has a burning desire to… display these symbols ?
Update: The U.S. Coast Guard reversed course, saying the swastika and noose were indeed hate symbols that are prohibited.

This came hours after The Post reported that the service was about to enact a new policy that downgraded those symbols.
In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

The President of the United States is calling for sitting Members of Congress to be killed.

Every death threat against them and their families will be on his hands.

Regardless of your party, every American should loudly condemn this.

Charlotte spun her web to save a life — that’s the damn point.

🕸️ Brave. Kind. 🐷

🤬 ICE is evil, incompetent, & missing the message of this antifascist classic. World-class fuckwads.

Read Charlotte’s Web.
Borrow her courage — save lives, raise hell & roast ICE.

Never used it, never looked at it, never will. I turn off AI results in browsers and everything else whenever I can.
Hands up if you've never used Chat GPT ✋

(I feel like Dozer and Tank in The Matrix right now - at first I didn't use it because, rather ironically, I'm lazy and stubborn (peak Taurus energy there) - literally no, don't make me use the new thing I don't wanna. Now I'm glad I didn't 😅)
Probably a good way to tell right now if the job you’re applying for is run by absolute dumbfucks is to ask if they’re using AI.

The GOP is incapable of any action except funneling money from poor people to rich people and lying.
Democrats asked for ONE THING today to reopen the govt: Keep health insurance subsidies where they are at now for one year. That is IT. Nothing else.

Republicans said no.

So all the lies they tell every day about things Dems are asking for is BS.
Republicans OWN this shutdown.

This has the double effect of personnel not having to make decisions (the racist profiling app does it for them) while also relieving them of responsibility: “Hey, it’s not me, it’s the app!”

This is incredibly racist, dangerous, and irresponsible.
New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

Strange how simply quoting Charlie Kirk's own words gets one accused of being a violence-loving hate-monger.

It's almost as if the words themselves were the problem.

From the article: "I could ask the Atlanta police for a readout of everyone arrested by a city cop in the last 24 hours and get it. I could ask the jail for a running tab of everyone they've processed, and the charges.

Neither of those things appears to be possible in Washington D.C. right now."
Agents in D.C. are arresting hundreds of people every night. But the basic public accountability for those arrests is not happening. The agencies are not generating initial incident reports for their arrests, and are concealing their identities. MPD is not releasing arrest data.
