Something I’m thankful for is that I told @sfdirewolf.bsky.social years ago what she meant to me and how she helped me.
I have no regrets and all I feel is appreciation. She lived an amazing life. Of course, I wish she had more time, don’t get me wrong. But, goodness, she made her time here count.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

I think a problem is there’s such a vast difference in the quality range. Brownies can be anywhere from 1–10 depending on the recipe, but even cinnamon rolls straight from the tube are like a 7 baseline.

Brownies are S tier, no doubt. Cinnamon rolls are a specialty treat, for holiday mornings and Victoria’s Secret sales.

This is a good and righteous take, and it is simply the uncultured who do not grasp the reality that cinnamon rolls have the lowest ceiling of the 4 major baked sweets.
