PT showed me my gait improves that much with this rollator, too. It would prevent falls, allow me to leave the house/exercise, and access my community. Lightweight for my aortic aneurysm!

Insurance paid = $398 and friend sent $50 earmarked to cost for low income farm CSA that starts in May ... so that leaves $210 ish for the hearing aids/$700. $0/$799 towards rollator. Please keep sharing-thx!

Cedar Rapids Hearing Center to me v 9:10 AM (3 hours ago) Hey Karrie, Nancy thought you had a different brand of hearing aids. There is one brand that we can change the batteries for in-office (in their old version), but with Phonak we cannot. We would have to send them in and Phonak charges a repair cost to do this. So if they are under 5 years old, which yours are, then it is $350/aid and then they come with a 1 year warranty. Sorry for the confusion, but wanted to get things cleared up! Melissa

Disabled New Yorkers fought to get curb cuts made on almost every corner.
I've had to use my cane as a climbing aid for decades, trying to access any crosswalk after a snowfall.
I'm just one of millions of people who are unable to safely cross the street after it snows.
