One thing you absolutely, definitely, undisputably, can not do is defeat fascism by voting in fascism light. The best outcome you could possibly even theoretically say the Democrats stand for is still a horrific dystopia with massive incarceration and slavery within our own country.

I go through phases of trying to stir up a movement to at least start writing a new constitution every couple years and every time the reaction I mostly get is “you have to spend years building a movement for that, so you need to stop trying!”
