Trying bold new opening for my #WIP. Starting further along in the story. Agents and editors seem to want the #horror to begin much earlier than I had it. Fond of slow-burn with hints & foreshadowing, myself, but giving faster opening a go. #writinghorror #writers Anybody else with opening woes?

The idea that Russia - a state that has spent almost four years throwing everything it has at conquering its neighbour, and failing - is remotely capable of invading Greenland, or is going to be in the foreseeable future, is ludicrous.
