So it turns out that the US seizure of an tanker off the coast of Scotland used RAF Mildenhall in #England and #Wick airport (owned by the #Scottish Government). Is it too much to hope that those assets would not be available for an attack on #Greenland? Starmer and Swinney must make that clear.

After last year's weeks of closures due to flooding at Chipping Sodbury, @gwr.com have done even better this year and reduced their service today "in anticipation of flooding". As far as I can tell the line is still above water but the mere idea of flooding has cancelled dozens of trains. FFS!

Learnt today, that the first patent I drafted unsupervised as a newly-qualified attorney in 2006 is being litigated in Texas! Feeling a mixture of pride (they must have thought it was strong enough to sue under) and shit-scared-ness (what if its isn't).

A brilliant article. Clear and legally correct. People need to calm TF down about people using toilets as toilets and not fall for the artificial panic whipped up by the right.
Just a reminder that this is still very much accurate and relevant. Even when the EHRC publish the Code of Practice, which does not change the actual law.
Trans people in the UK can still use the toilets that match their gender. Yes, even after the Supreme Court ruling. Here's why:
