The six biggest banks in the U.S. have quit the Net Zero Banking Alliance just before Trump's inauguration.

The alliance was formed with the goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

Let this serve as another reminder that so-called “corporate social responsibility” is a sham.

not enough people know that danny kaye was a genius autodidact who just kind of set about learning things he was interested in and became a world-class expert in most of them. read up on him– he was incredible.
My mom loved old movies, so I grew up watching all the classics with these beautiful nerdy twinks like Donald O’Connor, Danny Kaye, and Sal Mineo, and everybody was really surprised when it turned out that was the only kind of men I was attracted to

The research by social scientists has shown that this isn't a passive filter. It's caused by harassment, discrimination, and overt bias.

How do other infosec women handle it when someone is just obviously full of nonsense about their experience? I'm so often questioned about knowledge--as if it's not hard won by decades--that I can't imagine making shit up.

It’s especially important to understand that “Asian American” is not a community — it’s a constructed identity that only exists *because* of white supremacy. So anything posed as representing that identity, including exploiting the model minority myth, is a lie from the start. We hate antiblackness.
