I don't think any PoC can shelter behind their skin colour anymore. It was Asian organizations who played a key role in ending the Affirmative action. I am a Canadian of South Asian origin and I can write multiple long threads on anti-blackness among brown people, especially among Indians.

Basically what’s happening is an expression of the larger national project of ridding us of the idea of public goods, and a public in general.
And it’s wild because they just stopped the original Neiman Marcus from being closed downtown. So I don’t get the logic chain outside of downtown is for private luxury and not public business or enjoyment.
