I do not exaggerate when I say I want every person who supports abortion bans to be tarred and feathered for life.
“Abortion bans aren’t the problem! It’s bad doctors committing malpractice”

This is what the “pro life” crowd yell whenever a woman dies because she couldn’t access abortion

The most recent case was a 37 year old Texas woman with eclampsia. She saw 90 doctors. None helped her.

Our Somali friends and neighbors are elected leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, caregivers, drivers, and integral parts of communities from the Twin Cities to St Cloud to small towns. No matter their status, they belong.

Don’t buy into hateful rhetoric. Stand with all those who call this state home.

There are about 80,000 people of Somali descent in MN, to put it in perspective. A very small number have TPS status. This IS very important to those 700-ish, no doubt, but it's not the immigration lever FOTUS is making it out to be in his tweet.

Relatively few Somali people in Minnesota are here on TPS. Most were either born here or came as refugees and are now citizens or green card holders. Others came as family members of people who had naturalized.

No, he isn’t. There is literally no legal means by which he can do this. It’s not presidential power. TPS by law cannot be terminated early, and Somali TPS is not set to expire until March 17, 2026.
Trump says he’s ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali refugees in Minnesota “immediately.”

NEW: ICE has finally released post-shutdown detention data. The latest data reveals that a full 40%(!) of people arrested in the interior and held in ICE detention have no criminal record; no criminal charges or prior convictions. That is up from just 4% when Trump took office.

i don’t understand the point of this unless you are trying to completely hollow out the US economy
The DoE has reclassified numerous health professional and other degrees, limiting access to federal student loan programs eligible for the higher OBBBA loan caps from thousands to a few hundred.

As ALWAYS, this is about $$.

We're about to become REALLY "great"...

This should be at the top of the god dam article, not some Reganesque War on Drugs vilification of ADHD medication

Never mind we just keep cutting Medicaid and mental health resources with a fucking hatchet every year and wonder why the kids are fucked up
