Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:

Our funding depends on usage.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.

RICH PEOPLE FOODCOURT: 28 outposts of popular restaurants but it all costs 3-8 dollars more and it’s in a condo basement. 50-100% of these will close in 2 years.
ASIAN AMERICAN FOODCOURT: Everything here rocks, is affordable, and it’s in the healthiest yet most confusing mall you’ve seen in decades.

So in my D&D campaign I jot down NPC eccentricities to remember for later but sometimes forget the context. What did I mean when I wrote that the Dragonborn Paladin ‘owns over 500 hats’ and noted that the Gnome Druid is ‘canonically Jewish’?!

We went to a kid-friendly murder mystery tonight and someone brought their baby. 13yo was keeping notes on who he thought the murderer was, and at the bottom of the page it just said BABY, all caps, huge letters, circled and underlined.

For iOS users:
Welp. Apple snuck something dirty in our phones last night.

Settings > Apps > (pick an app) > Siri > Learn From this App

TOGGLE OFF.

You have to go through each app. My garage app, my BANKING APPS, others had that turned on automatically. 😡

Titmouse Animation (TAG) animates The Legend of Vox Machina on Amazon Prime for Critical Role. Many of their employees have lost everything. They have created a table (t.co/RErcD9Xa3B) of GoFundMe links for their employees. If you are looking for a way to help, they could sure use it.💔

My #PaxUnplugged haul! Usually I bring so many games to the Airbnb so I don’t have room to buy new ones but a Friendsgiving back in NYC on Saturday meant I returned on Sunday with an empty backpack I quickly filled!

I’ll be reposting a lot more here cuz of how this system works.

A “heart” doesn’t impact “the algorithm” how we’ve been trained.

Gotta repost what I find impactful, or want to get more eyes on, or the accounts I want my pals to find.

Social media is ephemeral & this is how we influence here.
