Sat two seats away from the then-pre laureate Andrew Motion at a Ted Hughes/Simon Armitage reading. On the way out chatting to my friend I accidentally referred to Armitage as Motion and he overheard me. All of which is about as interesting as one of Motion’s poems tbf.
