Made a chicken apple sausage pasta w a creamy sauce I made up in a fever dream before bed last night 😄 🍜🍽️

Sautéed shallot, roasted red peppers, grated zucchini, spinach, sausage pan drippings, chicken broth, tomato paste, butter, flour, cream cheese, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, adobo, & thyme 🤌🏽

Iberico Pork Collar on cider braised potatoes and carrots

Picked up an Iberico Pork Collar from Costco UK and wanted to do something interesting.

Covered in Chuds Sweet Cheeks rub, laid over a bed of potato, carrot and sliced garlic in an oak matured Cornish Cider braise

Slow smoked for 4 hours.

Today I'm putting together a short on bar food. Not the kinda bar serving full meals while you have a quiet cocktail, I'm talking about you go out to drink and are smart enough to know you need a solid base. Here's our order from The Snake Pit on Melrose.

fries covered in cheese, anything covered in cheese is always a great start to your day drinking. I forget what they called this on the menu, not Poutine though, I never heard of poutine til after traveling outside of Los Angeles. massive mozzarella sticks. again, anything breaded especially cheese is an excellent bar food dish. This bar, the Snake Pit has become legendary dive type joint. They used to have bands in one corner playing hard core rock and other loud fun. This is more of meal, but again if you hungry, noodles covered in cheese are gon set a good base. I'm realizing by doing this post that all 3 of my choices have cheese! That's got to be the story. Let me know what you think. And at the Snake Pit they used to have awesome afternoon bourbon/whiskey specials, i remember a double of Michter's Kentucky bourbon for 5$? I think that was it.

Very delicious shrimp fettuccine alfredo, the shrimp were wonderful fresh. love the bread, a whole loaf, so much better than asking for more, Could I have some more, sir? And some awesome deviled eggs, really like seeing them on the menu my mother on the left, sister on the right. mom just had an ankle twist and is fine. and no, they're not mad or anything, just a badly timed pic by me if you gonna have some fun order a pineapple and vanilla bean milkshake, so tasty, but not enough whipped cream. pineapple chunks would be my WWE name.
