Weekly Friday banner drop on Gorman Rd over I-95, MD. Took another set of samples of # cars, # positive (honking, waving, flashing lights) and negative (finger) reactions, southbound and northbound. Compared with previous samples about a month ago, # positive is higher; # negative is lower.

We can find suitable land with sunlight, water, and nutrients to grow plants, wait years to harvest the biomass and burn it for energy, hope to capture the CO₂ with carbon capture and storage technology, and find a suitable spot to bury the CO₂ permanently.

A part-way solution is no solution. We must revamp our transportation system to focus on clean, fast, efficient mass transit. If you must have a car (and most of us must) make it an EV.
Real-world data from 800k cars on the road - rather than data from distorting lab tests - show plug-in hybrids, with a large battery as well as a combustion engine, are 4.9x worse than official data say, making them essentially as bad as ordinary petrol cars
