Bad Bunny invited millions to learn, reflect, and stand in solidaridad with Puerto Rico.

For an island repeatedly devastated by hurricanes and failed government responses, climate impacts can’t be separated from health or self-determination.

Currently 6 out of 10 Republicans like utility-scale solar, more if the panels are made in the US.

In 2020, however, it was 8 out of 10.

Trump may not like solar, but lots of his voters do
A new poll reveals broad support for big solar farms among right-leaning voters — especially if panels meet certain manufacturing criteria.

All those local bans against renewables projects are simply elected officials responding to their NIMBY constituents, right? Not so fast. Opponents of this OH solar project included dozens of anonymous commenters & ~34 instances in which people gave false names or lied about their residence.
Are faked public comments about to tank an Ohio solar farm?
Dozens of public comments opposing the $98 million Crossroads Solar project appear to be fabricated. Ohio’s siting board may block the project anyway.

Hochul, referring to the CLCPA 20-year metric for tallying emissions:

“I wanted to meet those goals; they’re great. It’s always fun to be nation leading...”

Governor, this isn't about "fun."

Let's watch what she does in the next two weeks.
Hochul tells this ridiculous lie the NY climate/jobs law - requiring pollution cuts at the pace to prevent global catastrophe - is “unrealistic” but:

1. It’s not.
2. What is the “cost” of a dead planet?
3. She’s the one who delayed actions needed for years!

Next time someone asks you about energy and land use, maybe remind them that the ~35 million acres that currently grow corn for ethanol in the US could produce ~15 PWh per year of electricity from solar photovoltaics. That's ~3.5 times more than *total annual generation from all US power plants*.
