As Ezra Levin, Indivisible Co-Executive Director, emailed this evening: "Senate Democrats surrendered when they had maximum leverage and were winning the fight. This surrender came weeks after the largest protest in American history, and days after the best election night in a decade or more."
After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

Doomed.

"...Stefanik has spent much of her time presenting her selection as the GOP nominee as a foregone conclusion — a tactic employed by Zeldin in 2022."

"She rolled out 45 endorsements from state legislators on Friday. Notably absent were any of the 20 Republican legislators from Long Island."
Stefanik hit by GOP rival after launching NY governor bid
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman floated his own gubernatorial run and criticized Stefanik as having limited appeal.

Righteous anger

"In other words, King, Shaheen, and Hassan extracted nothing from Republicans in exchange for the poison-pill deal."

The arrogance of a Senator who is not even running again to take the lead in undermining the Caucus and the voters.
Shaheen: So let me be clear. No one in the senate chamber wants to extend the ACA tax credits more than I do.

Axios is reporting that Dems are caving on the shutdown, and that Schumer was “more involved” than was made public in these negotiations.

Call Schumer and Gillibrand today and tomorrow and the next day and the next making clear this is a betrayal.

Conservative upstate talk radio host Bob Lonsberry says Elise Stefanik's hope to run for Governor is dead. It's over. She can only lose. He's right but her ego is too great to pull back. She's going to end her political career in a quixotic run instead. Get some popcorn and watch.
