Indivisible New York is organizing rallies at each of Senator Schumer’s eight offices across the state on Friday to protest his inability to keep his caucus together and maintain the shutdown. Central NY groups will gather on Friday from 12-1 at the Hanley Federal Building in Syracuse.

Axios is reporting that Dems are caving on the shutdown, and that Schumer was “more involved” than was made public in these negotiations.

Karin J. Immergut, a Trump nominee, said "The President's determination was simply untethered to the facts."

Today is the last day of early voting. In Cortland early voting will take place today at 112 River Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Last weekend Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent appeared on news shows saying he is “feeling the pain” of China’s trade policies because he himself is a soybean farmer.

Bessent owns thousands of acres of North Dakota farmland that he rents out to actual farmers. He is NOT a soybean farmer.
