Indivisible Cortland County is an independent, grassroots civic group formed by residents of Cortland County, NY, working to protect the integrity of the American democratic process and ensure the well-being of all in our nation. We are NY19 & NY22.
Thanks for sharing that. My father in law shared stories of your dad and how inspiring it was for the Cortland boys overseas when they saw him during WWII. War is a brutal, impersonal thing and the hometown camaraderie was important. He was widely respected. Bless his memory.

It's not comforting to me to know individuals like your partner are going to be the ones to suffer. I think that's the argument for a general strike, not just another shutdown, if the subsidy vote fails.

For the last point, punishing the MAGA GOP at the polls next November is a tangible outcome but it also means a heck of a lot of people are going to either pay high prices all year or decide to forego unaffordable insurance coverage. That's a lot of pain for a long time compared to this shutdown.

I believe that would be an unchanged CR. If the December vote is part of the Senate version, it would require a House revote.

Stefanik needs to be asked constantly if she will pardon Trump. Will she lie like a Supreme Court nominee or tell the truth?

Even Lonsberry said she would be foolish to run. Elise Stefanik stopped making good decisions quite some time ago. wham1180.iheart.com/featured/bob...
