I have not advertised the publication my book, because more important things are happening. But if I had to pick one accomplishment for 2023 it’s this. I hope the world finds some use for it.

As it's in the news again - this is the post I wrote a few months ago on why the disability benefits bill has been going up.

Essentially, you can't remove need by removing support - it just pops up as a cost somewhere else.

While the world watches Israel's war with Iran, Netanyahu's extremist government continues to starve and massacre Palestinians in Gaza.

Today, Israeli forces again opened fire on people desperately trying to collect food aid, killing dozens. Over 56,000 have been killed so far.
BREAKING: Palestinian witnesses and hospitals say Israeli forces opened fire toward hundreds of people waiting for aid trucks in central Gaza, killing at least 25 people.

It's really not that hard. We understand that Labour had a difficult inheritance. It's more that, since taking office, Labour has (it sometimes feels deliberately) stuck its middle finger up at almost everything Labour voters care about. 🧵 www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

This kind of violence is sickening. The purposeful act of not seeing. It is vile. Designed to make us feel insane. We are not insane.

They got one thing right - it’s not war. It’s genocide. Israel is committing genocide.

The latest one is of Lord Frost's bizarre and ignorant rant here:

The academy is full of people who think you must be hard, to be critical. A mentor, Suman Fernando passed away recently, and with him an era of kind, gentle deeply thoughtful scholar activism. I am honoured to have known him. If you are a race or mental health scholar his work is essential.

Update.

The Telegraph has now corrected its entirely fabricated claim that 1 in 12 Londoners is an "illegal migrant" and has accepted that this claim was false in *four" separate respects.

However, this has not resolved my complaint to IPSO - I will continue to request a front-page correction.
