“Gay ideology” usually refers to gay people being visible, expressing our identities, forming communities, fighting for our rights, etc. Now “gender ideology” evokes similar in relation to trans folk. And when LGBT people become an “ideology,” our humanity degrades and we become targets for erasure.

The targeted shootings of Democratic politicians in Minnesota is a stark reminder of why we protest. Does it remind you of anything? Putin killing Navalny or any of his political rivals? This is an attempt to silence the majority of people who oppose this regime.
