This is really really bad. Like, you think sponsored ads on Google are annoying? Wait until ISPs throttle load speeds to websites that don't pay them for higher speeds.
A direct consequence of the Supreme Court overturning the Chevron doctrine in Loper Bright Enterprises last term. We are seriously fucked.
A federal appeals court has struck down the FCC’s net neutrality rules that prevented internet service providers from throttling or blocking content or charging more to deliver it

I am so ready for the Reagan era to finally end
zohran quoting and then rejecting "the era of big government is over," the line that captured the zenith of clintonian neoliberalism, is highly symbolic

Timezones are so weird. Australia is in 2026, Canada is in 2025, and the United States is in 1939.

One last fucked up 2025 scoop—FEMA has begun issuing termination notices to CORE staff (appointed under the Stafford Act, ordinarily extended for 2 years) effective Jan 2, agency sources tell me. Sr leadership was asked if they could be given more notice but Acting Administrator Karen Evans said no.

A reminder that if your company matches donations of any kind - go do that! Donate their money!

Are you not sure who to give to? I can find you an organization that will make your (and their) year.

For folks still struggling with the math:

There are ~345 million US citizens.

There are ~245 million white US citizens.

This is what they mean by "Peaceful ethnic cleansing." Their plan ends with deporting all non-white people.

Not "undocumented criminals."

Not even "all undocumented people."
This should not be shrugged aside. They have stopped with the fake 22 million illegal immigrants things and are flat out saying we want to deport 10's of millions of citizens and legal residents from "third world countries" Basically they are advocating removing 1/3 of the population on a gov site.

It is kind of wild that no big media outlet has busted open the story of who is making DHS' posts on X. Whoever that may be is certainly plugged into hardcore white supremacist internet propaganda with a harder edge. "Groyper" would be underselling it. This is Daily Stormer-tier sludge.

They loved that Bernie mostly dodged the issues of race and gender, they loved a vision of the left where they wouldn't have to worry about that and could be stars without having to share the stage with Black people and women, among others.
