Is there a permutation that would allow us to still qualify for the last 16, or, at least, to fall through the trap door into the mickey mouse ashtray knockouts?

I am confident of a BP victory at Northampton tomorrow, which would put us on 7 points and ahead of Vodafone on difference.

A fair bit is probably the 1999 semi nostalgia but playing Stade always feels a bit special; and it feels like a long, long time since Ulster last drew them. Looking forward to this. Strong team out. Although I really was hoping for some Kok tomorrow! #ULSvSFP

Is anyone sweating on our place? Honestly. At best an away game we'll barely turn up for. Great.
Says me off to see us in Dublin and Newport before end of season. Joy...
A hapless Edinburgh Rugby were left sweating over their place in the Champions Cup knockout stages after a second-string side were blown away 63-10 by Bath at The Rec.

With the Nations Championship,

There will be separate NH & SH tables,

& The top NH & SH team go to final

So as an NH supporter I will be incentivized to support SH teams against NH teams in other games as it helps my team in the table

So much for the North v South narrative

Premier Sports execs seeing this and scrambling rn to put together the most shoestring coverage in history
Less than a month to go until the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season kicks-off and there is no confirmed broadcaster for the UK or Ireland.

Sky's deal ended in 2025 and there has been no word on a potential renewal or another broadcaster acquiring the rights.

and when we get to a WC quarter final needing impact off the bench only to see young players who haven't been fully blooded and ageing players who are past it. The circle of Irish rugby will be complete as we crash out again.

His main examples were Robbie Henshaw and Josh Van Der Flier doing well in individual moments against a mid-table La Rochelle, in a game Leinster could easily have lost.

At some point, we're going to have to try new players.

Where I currently am on this is:

I can see why some are worried about ‘weakening’ the national side by putting in unproven players/experimenting

However, I think Ireland are at this point just kicking the can down the road. Take it from a Wales fan - you don’t want to give yourself a cliff edge
