*First ever DRAW
So close, yet so far. Damian McKenzie denied Scotland their first-ever win over the All Blacks this Saturday as they fought back to 17-17 with minutes to go. So how did Scotland give them such a game, how did NZ see it out, and should Scotland have sealed the game?

A lot of chat about the Welsh fullback jersey and Murray's perceived difficulties under the high ball.

My solution would be to transform Adams into an international fullback. He has all the qualities to play the position to a very high level.

It is a pity they 🇨🇮 haven't picked that Ulster wing whose name I can't remember instead of T O'Brien - the one who is quite old and a bit chubby, but who all the Irish fans still rate (hilariously!), because he scored a try against 🇳🇿, years ago. He is almost as slow as James Slowe & Mach '3' Hansen.
Surely there comes a point where Ireland's backline is so old and so slow that no matter how many tax fiddles the IRFU throws at it, the national team just literally grinds to standstill.

I mean obviously I hope not etc., but it does seem inevitable,at some point.

But He'll still be able to kick the ball 3 miles, into the wind.
2 more years and James Lowe will be catching the ball in a World Cup QF and actually be moving backwards.

He'll still have the stupid man-bun

Temu Henson played 8 times for the NZ Maori before, aged 29, his agent unearthed a Scottish nan, enabling him to win 37 caps for Scotland, between 2006-2011.
Me neither. A Temu Henson on current international displays

Imagine kicking off in a court of law, because you imagined that a prosecuting lawyer called you a 'nonce', as if you were in a flat-roofed pub.
‘At one point during cross examination, the prosecutor Peter Wright KC called Barton’s explanations “nonsense”, to which the former player responded by asking: “Are you calling me a nonce?” Wright in turn responded: “No, nonsense.”’

With Morgan seemingly out of the rest of the AI campaign and Macleod injured, I imagine Tandy will recall Reffell.

Personally, I would put Morse straight into the starting XV at 7. The time has come.

Deaves-mania is, to the Osoreys fan, what Carré-mania is to the Cardiff fan.

It is a helpful reminder (as if it were needed!) that, by and large, Ospreys supporters have a very limited understanding of rugby football.
Instant vibe boost if this man is called up.

If Tommy Reffell is, the vibes are rancid.

CALL DEAVES UP.

This is not true. There was a very brief period at the end of the 1st half, just after we had drawn level at 14-14, where Argentina were forced to move up to 4th gear, if only for a few minutes.
Given Tandy has been a specialist defence coach I was expecting us to be tougher to break down

Yet Argentina scored 50 points without ever leaving third gear

NZ and SA will be licking their lips
November 10, 2025 at 9:55 AM
Over the last 20 matches, yesterday was perhaps the hardest that we have made it for a team to put 50+ points on us.

Tandy's message is clear: if you want to stick 50 on us, then you'd better be prepared to fight for it until that clock is red, MUTHAFUCKA! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💪🏼

Carré's USP is that he is the kind of big, powerful rugby athlete that is pretty rare in Welsh rugby. This leads some folk (only Cardiff fans) to persist with theories that he has been somehow misunderstood or mismanaged. If he was English or South African, he'd have been forgotten about years ago.
genuinely kinda funny how every coach looks at him and says “SURELY he can’t be shit” and then turbo drops him for someone who’s had 2 caps for the Dragons

They are perhaps still a bit tender, but when an apology is due, it is due and it would be nice to see the likes of @spacemanjonny.bsky.social, @huwipulotu.bsky.social
and @missilepanda.bsky.social step forward and eat some humble pie, after the amount of shit they have been chatting all week.

That is outrageous from Mckenzie. What a finish.

It isn't often that I ask for your help, but I really need you all to go over to Twitter and vote for Scotland in this poll - only 1 hr left!

The Saffas discovered it and now they are rage tweeting it to other saffas, who are all voting earnestly and ruining my bit. ☹️👎🏼

All the best to this team on Sunday.

While it is not a side without quality, there are areas in which we are not exactly formidable. Midfield is a big concern. Edwards & Llewellyn are very green at this level and Thomas has yet to show that he can cut it at as a test player. 🇦🇷 big favourites.

There is a real nail-biter of a poll going on over on Twitter!

You can't even slip a Rizla blue between 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 & 🇳🇿!

Saturday is going to be epic!

James has been getting the messages too, I see.

I have only a very rudimentary grasp of Scots, but I can tell that he and the entire Scottish Rugby Podcast gang are ebullient with optimism.

Fever pitch, you might say.
@edjenx.bsky.social . @spacemanjonny.bsky.social won’t mind me sharing this. Confidence is sky rocketing now the New Zealand team has been announced.

How did Scotland get knocked out of the 2015 RWC?

I honestly can't remember.
*2015 World Cup Knock out, but point taken
November 5, 2025 at 8:12 PM
He went there. 😬
If Scotland don't win on Saturday, it'll be a bigger bottle job than their Independence Referendum in 2014.
Scotland going into Saturday's test as something of an irresistible force.

Whisper it quietly, but they are arguably favourites for this one.👀
