Indeed - and any journalist worth their salt would be putting that to Dave Reddin.
The poll was not incompetence but deliberate malfeasance

The interviewer should have probed much harder on these points:

- Why is pro rugby in Newport such a non-negotiable, when it has been an abject failure for 20 years?

- What is the incentive for business people to invest in the commercial arms of pro teams, if they have no say in rugby operations?

No Welsh defeat could have ruined my weekend, given that Noisette entered our lives. It was a baptism of fire for her though. The moment she arrived into her new home, it was straight on the settee for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿v🇯🇵 and 80 minutes of absolutely infuriating, dog shit Welsh rugby.

Poor puppy.

Given the multiple problems in the Welsh team, we are all understandably debating selection for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿v🇳🇿. However, at this stage of the AIs, the reality is that Tandy has no choice but to stick to his guns & hope that the side becomes settled and performances improve.

A boring take, but a sensible one.

Beetham is just another unproven youngster, who has achieved nothing at club level to merit being in this conversation. The fact that so many of the options have his kind of profile is a big reason for why we are where we are.
Out of the players in the squad I'm tempted by Beetham at fullback for some solidity.

Again, this doesn't change my sincere, steadfast, considered and sincere conviction that 2026 will indeed be Scotland's year.😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏉
In your considered opinion does this negatively impact on their Six nations ambitions or will it galvanise them and 2026 will be their year?
November 16, 2025 at 5:34 PM
Sheesh! Deary, dear me! What a finish!

Scotland will be rueing that as YET ANOTHER missed opportunity!

Still, it is my sincere and steadfast conviction that 2026 will be Scotland's year.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎

Oh dear, oh dear!
Wow, getting a bit edgy now!

10 minutes left and Argentina are right in this.

Nonetheless, Toonie will have learnt that he has to use his bench to good effect and I fully expect his Lions to step up and roar Scotland over the line!
20 minutes left and wow, the Argies are throwing some real punch here. Nevertheless, it feels like Scotland have turned the page and right on cue, Finn steps up and slots 3, calming the nerves.

This Scotland team feels like it has finally acquired a killer instinct. 🎯🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎

I'm on a time lag with Scotland v Argentina. 50 minutes gone and Scotland are well in control. I expect them to stretch their legs from here.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎✌🏼

No spoilers plz

That was a stonewall penalty try. Graham's pass was going straight into the bread basket, the cover was beaten and was never going to lay a finger on the Scottish support runner.

Shocking decision from Brace.

Am I being irresponsible / unreasonable in wanting Tandy to just chuck in Morgan Morse against 🇿🇦&🇳🇿?

My thinking is that we simply have to make changes to that back 5, because there is no hope in competing, otherwise. At least we know that Morse has a high enough ceiling to exist in that sphere.

Would you go roof open or closed? Which offers the best advantage?

One of the worst aspects of yesterday's Welsh performance was the poor performances from the few guys with credit in the bank as top end test class players.

In particular, Josh Adams let the side down badly, while Wainwright was anonymous.

few players in our team who have credit in the bank as

This is absolutely dreadful. The WRU are in deep shit and don't appear to have a clue what they are doing. We are heading straight for the edge of the cliff.

*First ever DRAW
So close, yet so far. Damian McKenzie denied Scotland their first-ever win over the All Blacks this Saturday as they fought back to 17-17 with minutes to go. So how did Scotland give them such a game, how did NZ see it out, and should Scotland have sealed the game?

A lot of chat about the Welsh fullback jersey and Murray's perceived difficulties under the high ball.

My solution would be to transform Adams into an international fullback. He has all the qualities to play the position to a very high level.

It is a pity they 🇨🇮 haven't picked that Ulster wing whose name I can't remember instead of T O'Brien - the one who is quite old and a bit chubby, but who all the Irish fans still rate (hilariously!), because he scored a try against 🇳🇿, years ago. He is almost as slow as James Slowe & Mach '3' Hansen.
Surely there comes a point where Ireland's backline is so old and so slow that no matter how many tax fiddles the IRFU throws at it, the national team just literally grinds to standstill.

I mean obviously I hope not etc., but it does seem inevitable,at some point.

But He'll still be able to kick the ball 3 miles, into the wind.
2 more years and James Lowe will be catching the ball in a World Cup QF and actually be moving backwards.

He'll still have the stupid man-bun

Temu Henson played 8 times for the NZ Maori before, aged 29, his agent unearthed a Scottish nan, enabling him to win 37 caps for Scotland, between 2006-2011.
Me neither. A Temu Henson on current international displays
