So, WRU have a shortlist of 2 to buy Cardiff which may or may not include Y11.
If anyone other than Y11 buys them, the new owners will go into a tender with no guarantees of winning it? After spending up to £16m for the team?

So for all of the Ospreys/Cardiff merger chat that has dominated the Welsh media for the last month…. WalesOnline reporting Y11 aren't even in the final two bidders, if they even bid at all.

A cynic might wonder if, for certain members of the media, creating that damaging narrative was the point?

The experience of 2014 should be enough to teach us that getting the numbers to call an EGM means nothing without significant and widespread support, but we seem set for a pretty febrile end of the year.

Why is there so much negativity around central contracts and being employed by the WRU? Is it the NDAs? Is it the institutionalised misogyny? Is it the sexism? Maybe the toxic and vindictive culture? Or the homophobia? Puzzling ... isn't it?

Dear Dave Reddin, RCK, Abi Tierney and the WRU Board,

Please stop "striving."

It's not helping.

Just go. All of you.

If you have any sense of dignity you would resign now.

You're doing a terrible job.

We told you this.

Listen.

Go.

Now.

Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake going to Gloucester is a kick in the teeth for Welsh Rugby. Two genuine top class players. It just feels self destructive to the fabric of the game domestically

Toulouse handed a two-point penalty in the #Top14, with a further two suspended

They've also been fined €45,000, with €15,000 of it suspended
In some off the field issues

Toulouse's LNR hearing over Melvyn Jaminet's 2022 transfer from Perpignan started this afternoon in Paris

They risk a points penalty over his €450,000 move

Creating the right environment = We'll tell you who you have to play for; we'll set your salary; we'll decide which position you play; we'll decide how often you play .... and there's bugger all you can do about it.

Alternatively, ignore all that and play in the Prem. Tough choices.

So that's the spine of the Welsh pack for the next 5 years. The three most recent captains of their country. All now playing outside Wales.

And another two of the autumn squad now playing in England.

Well played, WRU. No, really now. Well played.

Morgan has been one of the few positives about Welsh rugby recently. A pretty damning indictment of the WRU that he feels the need to leave.
Jac Morgan the first sacrifice to keep the gravy train moving at all costs.

Every key decision the WRU have taken since professionalism has been arrogantly wrong. The latest will prove to be no exception.

Jac has made it clear he'd rather have stayed in Swansea.

This isn't about money, or opportunity – it's about the WRU deliberately putting the Ospreys in a position where any new contract offer comes with a huge dose of uncertainty. So he's gone.

An act of pure vandalism we will never forget.
Jac Morgan to leave Ospreys at end of season.

Since making his debut for the club, Morgan has made 51 appearances for the Ospreys, made his Wales debut, was named captain for both club and country, and appeared on his first British and Irish Lions tour.
