Ala'alatoa has been fine. Decent, even. Unfortunately he's had to play eight games in a row since the Bath game and looks like most 34 year olds who end up having to do that for 50 odd minutes a game.
Should look a lot better when he can switch in and out with Jager, now he's back fit.

Ala'alatoa has been fine. Decent, even. Unfortunately he's had to play eight games in a row since the Bath game and looks like most 34 year olds who end up having to do that for 50 odd minutes a game.
Should look a lot better when he can switch in and out with Jager, now he's back fit.

If Boyle is injured long-term, as it seems, then Leinster have to sign a joker until the end of the season. Without it, you risk tossing away an entire season of a side built for the Champions Cup, with all the costs involved.

I do wonder about Beirne's usage this six nations. Is he a lock at test level? Munster using him mostly at #6 to get the most out of him at this point in his career, especially in a unit where you need real heft now.
I can see him at #6 for Ireland too, especially with Baird injured.

Did enough to win, but that exit off the last restart was the killer. Had to go to the 10m line, went 10m forward instead. Edogbo was outstanding. Crowley and Casey played the exact right game needed.
Daft errors at key points did the damage. Frustrating. Take the LBP and move onto next week.
